This morning I was invited to be a guest on attorney Brian Boger's Talk Legal radio show. Brian's show is at 9:00 A.M. on WVOC 560 A.M., Columbia. Brian is an oustanding attorney whose practice areas include real estate, wills, probate and consumer law. He has been hosting his radio show since 1997 where he discusses a variety of legal issues of interest to the general public.
We discussed how local, and out of state companies are offering to assist local homeowners save their homes from foreclosure. Often times these offers can be fraudulent and result in a complete loss to the homeowner.
We also discussed South Carolina's DUI law. A new law went into effect last February creating a tiered system of penalties. This combined with the aggressive enforcment stance taken by law enforcement makes these cases all the more serious.
