Vicki Koutsogiannis recently joined The Law Office of James R. Snell, Jr. LLC as an associate in 2014. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Vicki graduated in 2014 from the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was a recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence.
Vicki graduated cum laude from Stony Brook University in New York, where she studied Political Science and was a member of several honors societies. She graduated in 2010 with her Bachelor of Art. From there, she moved back to South Carolina to work at a law firm in Greenville and apply to law school. While in this position, she developed practical experience working on criminal defense, family law, and personal injury cases.
While in law school, Vicki served as a guardian ad litem with Richland County CASA, treasurer for the school's Children's Advocacy Law Society, and a member of the school's Pro Bono Board. While there, she volunteered for a variety of organizations such as the Cooperative Ministry, Ask A Lawyer, SC ETV Radio's pledge drive, and a rehabilitation center. She also assisted the author of an Amicus brief before the South Carolina Supreme Court which advocated on behalf of the right to a jury trial for juvenile offenders in South Carolina.
Vicki's parents emigrated from Sparta, Greece before her birth. Thirty years ago, they used this culture to open their family-owned and operated restaurants (Twin Palmetto) at which her father can still be found working hard six days a week. Thanks to her parents, both Vicki and her brother speak, read, and write Greek fluently.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, running, leisurely reading, and spending time with friends and family.
